Catherine Simard
Passionate about the arts since childhood, Catherine began her gymnastics career at the age of two. She began her adventure in the world of dance by joining a competitive jazz troupe.
In 2018, she chose to spend her summer perfecting her technique, which is how she discovered the Ballet Tompkins Conservatory and the Vaganova method. She fell in love with the style and with the teaching of her ballet masters, and at the age of 17 was invited to work with the company. She continues to work with the company to this day, taking part in its various performances, in corps de ballet, pas de deux and as a soloist, as well as teaching ballet classes for the Conservatory. In 2023, she was certified as a ballet teacher by the Society of Classical Ballet - Vaganova Method.
Her performance of the pas de deux "Ah! Chers Couples" was a revelation for the artistic director, highlighting the young dancer's exceptional interpretive skills and remarkable theatrical flair, qualifiers that will enable her to stand out from the crowd and travel with ease and sensitivity between the multiple roles that will be offered to her.
