For Halloween, Quebec's Ballet Tompkins  presents a show full of spells!

As the spooky Halloween season approaches, Quebec's Ballet Tompkins is delighted to announce a one-of-a-kind Halloween show featuring two hauntingly beautiful ballets. Prepare to be mesmerized and shiver!

On the program :

 Walpurgis night

Embrace the darkness as the company takes you on a mystical and magical celebration of "Walpurgis Night" (or Witch's Night). Taken from the Faust opera, choreographer Nathan Paret has masterfully woven enchanting movements to haunting music to depict the night when devils and imps celebrate.

Dracula

In a hypnotic interpretation of the classic tale with a Haitian twist, Nathan Paret's ballet "Dracula" brings to life the timeless legend of the vampire. Meet the immortal Count Dracula, under the spell of a voodoo witch, and his innocent victims lured to his castle.

Artistic director Timothy Tompkins is enthusiastic about this unique Halloween show:

« I've been looking forward to the opportunity to present these spectacular ballets by Nathan Paret. Halloween offers the perfect setting to showcase the ethereal, enigmatic beauty of 'Walpurgis Night' and the dark allure of 'Dracula'. We're confident that this show will resonate with our audience and leave them spellbound. »
